May is the month when the mountains that form the backdrop of Jesenice are clothed in white. This time it is not the garment of snow but one of blossoms. To honour that event the Festival of Daffodils will take place on Saturday, May 5th, 2007 starting at 15.00 under the tent in the middle of the village. There will be a short cultural programme followed by a party with the bands.

As the daffodils bloom all month, and so that the other days of admiring the daffodils would not become boring, food and drinks will be available in the tent during the whole month of May. It will also be possible to go on a panoramic trip by cable car to Španov vrh (Špan’s Peak), where there is a beautiful view over Gorenjska.

The office of the Golica Tourist Association will be open every weekend in May. Postcards and souvenirs will be available there, and a visit to a black kitchen or to an exhibition of Country Women from below Golica and Stol and of local artists are possibilities as well. Besides that, visitors are also offered organised tours around the village with a guide.
